Off in order, back on in reverse: cloth, pockets, rails, bed sections, then frame and legs, wrapped as each leaves. Slate travels upright and strapped; rails travel wrapped.
In winter the load is covered rather than merely strapped. Slate coming off a cold truck into a warm basement will sweat, so the pieces come in and are left to sit before anything is bolted, and the cloth goes on last of all rather than to a schedule.

What the number is built from on a home to home move.
- We do not charge extra for stairs on a three piece slate table.
- We will not move one piece slate tables up or down stairs.
- The outside flight, the depth of the side landing, and the half flight down beyond it.
- There is a $30 fee on a move for any job that starts after 5 pm, on a Saturday, or on a Sunday.
- Whether new cloth goes on during the move, which beats bringing a crew back for it.
A picture of the table and one taken standing on the side landing will sharpen the number more than any description.
What finished looks like
We here at Milwaukee Pool Table Movers guarantee all of our work. If you use our services and feel that we did something incorrectly, or that your table is becoming unlevel, we will come back out to fix the issue. On an installation or a recover that is good for three months after your service is completed; on a home to home move it is good for six months.
Our normal appointment times are at 8 or 9 am and 1 or 2 pm. On an installation or a recover there is an additional $50 fee for any job that starts after 5 pm, on a Saturday, or on a Sunday, and an additional cost of $50 if we need to carry the table up stairs. On a home to home move the out of hours fee is $30, and we do not charge extra for stairs on a three piece slate table. We will not move one piece slate tables up or down stairs.
